Old Dominion University is slashing its undergraduate tuition for active-duty military members starting this fall.
The special rate – a 28 percent discount – makes each credit hour $250. That’s about $100 below the regular rate.
About a quarter of ODU’s student body is military.
“It provides a great opportunity for the active duty member to pursue an education or complete an education they may have started,” said Jane Dané, associate vice president for enrollment management.
