PERKINSTON, Mississippi — After top 10 finishes the last two years, Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College has ascended to the top spot in an annual ranking of the most military-friendly community colleges in the nation.
MGCCC was ranked number one on the 2020-21 Military Friendly Schools list for the nation’s largest community college. The list, now in its 10th year, sets the standard for higher education institutions to provide the best opportunities for veterans and their spouses.
“It is our privilege to serve the men and women in the country’s military and we are thrilled that MGCCC has been ranked as the best community college for our military families,” said MGCCC president Mary Graham. “The college has had a strong relationship with the military for many years and values the opportunity to have a presence at all of the military installations on the Coast.”
