In partnership with the City University of Seattle, Amazon will offer training that could promote its military employees and their families to higher-paying jobs in the company through a new online certification program, reports the Rome News-Tribune.
Amazon military veteran employees can take the program’s six online courses, which include topics such as database technologies, business analytics and product management, at any time of day, depending on what works best for their respective schedules. Additionally, the courses can stand alone or be incorporated into undergraduate or graduate degrees.
Each course costs $1,834, but Amazon employees get a discount of 25% and the courses can be paid for with veterans benefits.
