Starting in October, Fort Campbell will be one of six installations taking part in a pilot program, which will test changes to the Soldier for Life – Transition Assistance Program.
Currently all transitioning Soldiers receive the same career readiness classes to prepare them for life after the Army. The pilot program will use an algorithm to divide active duty Soldiers into different categories. The categories will determine how many career readiness classes transitioning Soldiers must take to satisfy career readiness requirements.
