Foundation Pledges $1M for Veterans’ Education

American entrepreneur, philanthropist and University of Baltimore alumnus Bob Parsons pledged a $1 million gift for the institute that bears his name to support an array of services designed to improve the lives of military members. The Bob Parsons Veterans Institute combines Parsons Veterans Center and Veterans Advocacy Clinic with related programs that provide valuable resources and much-needed services.

“Our veterans deserve our support,” said Parsons, B.S. ’75, D.H.L. ’08. “But that means more than just financial assistance—this center is a way to say ‘welcome home’ to our service members.”
