Stephen Renshaw has been appointed military outreach coordinator for Savannah Technical College (STC), the Coastal Courier reported.
Renshaw – he retired as a U.S. Army colonel with 24 years of active duty experience –will oversee initiatives helping current and former military personnel and family members enroll, graduate, and pursue careers with local industries and businesses.
Other roles he’s served in include Junior Reserve Officers' Training Corps (JROTC) senior Army instructor at Richmond Hill High School; and chief of staff for the U.S. Army CBRN School in Fort Leonard Wood, Mo.
Renshaw holds an MBA from Cameron University and a bachelor’s degree in political science and history from Texas Christian University.
STC has the highest military-affiliated enrollment in the Technical College System of Georgia (TCSG), with 25% of STC students being a veteran, active-duty service member, or a military dependent/spouse.
